Going for the Silver!

Cheryl and I decided to spend the night at Couer d' Alene Lake. I got up early this morning to beat the heat (100 F today) and rode back to Spokane on the Centennial Trail. Got 72 miles in before noon which was good because I was baking by the time I finished.
As I mentioned in a previous post, this is a beautiful ride so I took a short video on what it is like. There is even a coyote that crossed my path at the end. CRAZY!  The problem is I'm doing this update on my phone and I can't figure out how to link videos. I know, I know, its a weak excuse. Oh well, I know you are all on the edge of your seats waiting for my daily posts (actually I think there are only 6 of you out there and all of your last names are Winkler). A least now the Winklers have something to look forward to tomorrow!

We then headed toward Flathead Lake in Montana and were drawn to the 50K Silver Dollar motel and casino (damn, in an RV stopping at Montana casinos, I feel old all of the sudden)  Fresh from Vegas we were thinking CASINO BABY! When we walked in all we saw were wagon wheel tables and video poker machines. Seriously?  You call that a casino?  We at least had to taste their signature drink The Huckejuea (don't even ask). It was just OK.  A little too foo foo for this guy.
